Aerial view of Shobnall Marina Shobnall Marina was opened in 1973 by the Hines family – Harry, Renee, Mike and Janette – who ran Jannel Cruisers, and still own the Marina.
We took over the disused Bond End Canal and breathed new life into a derelict area, to create what is now a thriving marina covering all aspects of boating. Take a look at our History page for some fascinating "before" pictures!
With Jannel, we started out as a boat hire company - but we have now evolved into a Marina offering moorings (long and short term), dry docking, engineering, welding, chandlery and most recently, a café.
Shobnall signAlthough we no longer hire boats, you can still see many of our old fleet about, and we even have one or two still mooring with us.
So whether you're looking for new moorings or just a chandlery to look around; thinking of having your boat blacked or doing it yourself, do call in.
Have a coffee or indulge in a home made cake. One thing we guarantee is that you will receive a warm welcome and a smile.
We look forward to providing you with an unrivalled service and look forward to a long and lasting association.
We hope to see you soon.
